A single statement is more than sufficient to highlight the capability,offensiveness and hardwork of RAW :

Talking about dangerous neighborhood, Ajit Doval, made a very aggressive speech on the 10th Nani Palkhivala Memorial at the SASTRA University in February 2014. Currently the National Security Adviser, Ajit Doval’s lecture establishes India’s ability to defend the country through three means, of which defensive offense, could prove to be very disastrous for Pakistan.
The matter of Balochistan isn’t unknown to India or Pakistan. Pakistan has time and again accused India of funding, arming and encouraging insurgency in Balochistan – a province that has been waging a struggle for independence since it was incorporated into Pakistan in 1947.
The line that demands attention is his mention of using vulnerabilities of Pakistan to India’s advantage. He says, “You can do one Mumbai, you may lose Balochistan.”
This statement, made by someone well versed with the present geo-political scenario and dwindling political trust clearly highlights the penetration and capability of RAW.
A bureaucrat who commands supreme authority over the Research and Analysis Wing (next only to the prime minister) explicitly knows how much inroad access it has into the Balochistan province and is confident enough to make a public statement. This is RAW’s power. Or perhaps Mr. Doval’s swag!!
To further highlight RAW’s capability, read on to a report by Jane’s Information Group, the world’s foremost source on intelligence information published in 2001:
The Indian spy agency RAW and the Israeli spy agency Mossad have created four new agencies to infiltrate Pakistan to target important religious and military personalities, journalists, judges, lawyers and bureaucrats. In addition, bombs would be exploded in trains, railway stations, bridges, bus stations, cinemas, hotels and mosques of rival Islamic sects to incite sectarianism.”
In short, “RAW is more than capable to execute any operation with finesse, ease and conviction in a specified time frame to protect national interest.“

I’d like to highlight a comment by Roopayan Karmakar which is worth considering:
Three points I want tomention :
1) No intelligence agency will announce what they actually plan
2) No intelligence agency will follow the same agenda what they publicly announce (the announcement is just a distraction)
3) A mastermind like Ajit Doval is not stupid enough to forget the above two basic points.
So, none of us is in a position to predict what RAW is going to do. I have even heard they dont have a public headquarter even. They work like a shadow.
Also, Nehool Bhutda has struck a cord with my thoughts by his following comment:
Oh..had it failed you’d see more bomb blast and terrorist activities than any of us imagine. It may be ineffective for you. But saying it failed is gross mistake. Yes boasting by Mr Doval is wrong, I won’t argue with you there.
But judging Raw just because a Patankaot is wrong. You know, ISI is better than Raw in doing what they do, but they still can’t prevent terrorist attacks on their own lands.That’s just on Pakistan. Considering size and diversity of India I’d say Raw is doing great Job.
Before judging remember this.

On being compared to MOSSAD, surely has a solid point.
He states that:
Yes. Mossad is prodigy. Let’s see at Israel. A country smaller than an average Indian state. We can argue that it is a easier to keep an eye on a smaller country compare to India.
Also mossad has more power than Raw I believe. AFAIK if raw had to attack in foreign land, it’ll need to take tons of permissions. Bureaucracy of our country is bad.

No I am not mocking mossad, mossad is far better than Raw I agree.
But you can’t stop each and every attack.
Considering we are surrounded by pakistan Bangladesh and China, I’d say raw is doing great Job. Sure it is not as great as mossad but it is not bad as you think it is.
For those of few, who doubt Mr. Ajit Doval’s competency, do read this comment by
Mr. Doval has given sign that india is shifting from defensive to defensive- offence tactics. Such things cannot be done overnight. If india is targeting Balochistan, it will take many years to set up an intelligence and funding network there as, previously, indian governments have done nothing to set up any spy network in Balochistan to help insurgent groups to arise.
That’s why there has been many terrorist attacks after 26/11.
If Doval is firmly stating that, he must be working on it, cause, he is not like other braggart bearaucrates who only boast.
He is indian james bond. He was present with terrorists in swarn mandir as an indian govt’s spy when the opreration blue star was being carried out.

Such positive news are not available in public domain and also they are not suppose to.
